About us
Attero accepts and processes a wide range of mineral waste streams. Here too, we adhere to the principle of recovering maximum raw materials from these streams. This also means that we clean contaminated streams, thereby making them suitable for reuse. Among other things, we recycle rubble and contaminated soil into reusable soil and construction materials for application in concrete, road, and hydraulic engineering. This is done using a number of conventional and several unique mechanical separation techniques.
We have five processing locations spread across the Northern, Eastern, and Southern Netherlands. In addition, our mobile cleaning, crushing, and sorting plants can be deployed for optimal waste stream management in redevelopment projects. Our acceptance and processing rates are highly competitive. Attero is a recognized processor. We process your waste streams in accordance with SIKB BRL 7500-7510 and BRL 2506 and accept reusable soil in accordance with BRL 9335. Attero’s environmental management system is ISO 14001 certified. To meet our energy needs, we use 100% self-generated green electricity at a number of locations.
We are developing solar parks on an increasing number of closed landfill sections to generate even more green electricity, starting with Wijster, Tilburg, and Montfort. We are continuously working on innovative techniques to increase separation efficiencies and further minimize harmful emissions.
In addition, Attero accepts non-recyclable streams at its landfills in Tilburg, Landgraaf, Wilp, and Wijster, such as asbestos, soil remediation residue, and technically non-combustible residues.

As a Soil & Construction Materials Project Employee, you are the first point of contact for our regions. This is an internal position, but you will also occasionally travel to our production sites in Wilp and Tilburg. You support both commercial and operational colleagues with various administrative tasks. You maintain an overview, handle the details, and ensure that everything runs smoothly — from stock and permits to customer inquiries and internal audits.

Within the Mineral Business Office team, we work with a team of diverse specialists on the construction, maintenance, and monitoring of our landfill sites. For the business office, we are looking for a Work Planner who will provide support to project managers and technologists in a dynamic environment involving various technical fields (Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering). You have an affinity for technology, act as a central point of contact, and work primarily in a team. Together with your colleagues, you prepare projects and support the project managers during execution. This involves the layout of our landfills, such as the installation of top and bottom seals. Together with the project managers, you ensure that the correct procedures are followed and that everything is completed and archived properly. Additionally, you assist the technologists with smaller projects such as gas extraction installations or water treatment plants.
(Jr.) Projectleider Nazorg Mineraal
For the Mineral Business Office, we are seeking a (Junior) Aftercare Project Manager who will provide support in a dynamic environment to the Head of the Business Office, regional managers, the Mineral Manager, and the Business Unit Controller. Together with your Business Office colleagues, you will handle the environmental and civil aspects crucial for the aftercare of a landfill site. You will coordinate groundwater investigations, aftercare plans, etc., and support the development of alternatives for sealing or other aspects related to aftercare. These are recurring investigations where structure and overview are important. You switch easily between various disciplines, such as permitting, operations, and facilities. Landfill aftercare is perpetual and requires you to be tenacious and have the staying power to get things done. You report to the Head of the Mineral Business Office.
