About us

Insus gives PIR and PUR waste a second life by recycling it into reusable raw materials for new applications.

Valuable raw materials should not end up in landfill or be incinerated. That is why we give PIR and PUR materials a new purpose. Using a unique recycling process, we separate these materials into individual raw material streams that can be reused in new applications. This keeps valuable resources available for longer and helps us work together towards a more circular supply chain.

We recycle sandwich panels, sandwich doors, insulation boards, installation and cutting waste, cold storage panels and various industrial waste streams containing polyurethane. During the recycling process, we carefully dismantle the materials. Metals, polyurethane and other waste streams are separated and cleaned. The recovered polyurethane is processed into a raw material that can be reused in new applications, including the production of insulation materials. Any gases released during the recycling process are safely captured and processed in a controlled manner.

Our recycling solutions are designed for demolition companies, contractors, installation companies, recycling companies, manufacturers and other organisations that generate PIR and PUR waste. Whether it concerns a one-off demolition or renovation project, recurring production waste or large materials that are difficult to transport, we work with you to find a suitable solution.

Materials can be delivered directly to our recycling facility in Duiven or to one of our partner collection points. Companies can also use an Insus container to collect demolition, installation or production waste and have it picked up. For larger or non-standard waste streams, we provide tailored solutions and advise on collection, logistics and processing.

Our energy-efficient, fully electric recycling facility can process up to 20,000 tonnes of PIR and PUR materials every year. This includes not only materials from our own supply chain, but also PIR and PUR waste streams from other organisations.

Do you have PIR or PUR materials that are currently sent to landfill, incinerated or difficult to process? Visit our stand. We will be happy to discuss the materials you have, whether they are suitable for recycling and which collection or logistics solution best suits your organisation. Together, we're closing the loop.
