About us
Waste streams are rarely standard. Varying compositions, shapes, moisture levels, and properties require a solution that precisely aligns with the process. Therefore, Van Beek develops and manufactures custom-made screw conveyors, bulk truck loaders, and screw heat exchangers for the recycling and waste processing industries, among others.
We have specialized in screw technology since 1950. Our systems are used for transporting, dosing, feeding, buffering, and processing a wide range of bulk flows. Examples include recycled plastic, used PET bottles, tire granules, biomass, sewage sludge, wastewater treatment residues, and other post-consumer and post-industrial waste streams.
Customization truly comes into its own when dealing with difficult-to-process materials. Wet, sticky, coarse, fibrous, or irregular products place specific demands on a transport system. Together with the customer, our engineers examine the product properties, the desired capacity, and the overall process to arrive at a reliable solution.
In addition to screw conveyors, Van Beek offers solutions with Dino bulk truck loaders for the efficient loading of dry bulk goods into silo trucks. With our Celsius screw heat exchangers, bulk products can be heated, cooled, dried, or kept at temperature in a controlled manner during transport.
Unsure in advance how a specific waste or recycling stream behaves in a screw conveyor? We can test the product in our own test center, The Blue Zone. This allows us to investigate beforehand which configuration best suits the product and the process.
