As Transport Manager, you ensure that our transport organization runs smoothly today and is ready for tomorrow. You maintain an overview, make adjustments where necessary, and continuously identify opportunities to work smarter and more efficiently. Your responsibilities: Managing the planning department and, indirectly, the driver organization. Monitoring and improving logistical processes, quality, and operational KPIs. Analyzing daily operations and implementing improvements in transport, planning, productivity, and cost control. Initiating and guiding optimization and change processes, such as the implementation of new systems, software, or apps. Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, safety, and quality standards. Coaching, motivating, and developing employees and building a culture of continuous improvement. Collaborating closely with the Board of Directors, Management Team, Logistics, Operations, Sales, HR, QHSE, customers, and external partners. What do you bring? A completed higher professional education (HBO) degree, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or transport management. 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience in a managerial role within the transport sector. Experience with complex transport planning processes and change management. Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills. A results-oriented, customer-focused, and hands-on attitude. Good command of Dutch and English; German is a plus.
