Metso has a history of over 100 years in crushing technology.
1921: The first four crushers were produced and delivered in Tampere (Finland). Metso has therefore been celebrating 100 years of crusher production in Tampere since 2021.
1975/1976: The first Nordberg C Series jaw crushers were developed and introduced. To date, more than 13,000 units have been delivered.
1985: Metso his predecessors introduced the Lokotrack, one of the first mass-produced mobile crushing plants. Nordberg itself dates back as far as 1886 and developed crushing technology for the mining industry early on.
