Backeye®360

Complete 360° visibility around the vehicle in one clear, real-time bird’s-eye view.

Backeye®360 is a 360-degree camera monitoring system designed to give drivers a complete view around commercial vehicles and mobile machinery. Four ultra-wide-angle cameras are mounted at the front, rear and sides of the vehicle. Their individual images are processed and stitched together to create a single, real-time bird’s-eye view on the driver’s monitor.

By bringing the areas around the vehicle together in one clear image, Backeye®360 helps drivers see people, vehicles and obstacles that may otherwise be hidden in blind spots. Instead of constantly switching attention between mirrors, windows and different camera views, the driver can use one integrated display to gain a clearer understanding of the vehicle’s immediate surroundings.

The system is particularly valuable during low-speed manoeuvres, where limited visibility around larger vehicles and machines can make operating in busy environments more challenging. Applications range from trucks, buses and vans to waste and recycling vehicles, construction equipment, agricultural machinery and other mobile plant.

Backeye®360 can also be configured to suit different vehicle types and operating requirements. Multiple viewing modes and configurable on-screen guidelines help provide the driver with the most relevant view for the manoeuvre being performed.

Camera feeds can also be recorded using a compatible Brigade Mobile Digital Recorder (MDR), combining enhanced driver visibility with the option to retain footage.
