Backeye®360 AI combines complete 360-degree vehicle visibility with AI-powered human form recognition. Designed for commercial vehicles and mobile machinery, the system helps drivers see their surroundings while providing an additional warning when a person is detected within a monitored area.

Four ultra-wide-angle HD cameras provide views from the front, rear and both sides of the vehicle. These images are processed and combined into a seamless 360-degree bird’s-eye view, displayed on a single monitor in the cab. This gives the driver an immediate overview of areas that may otherwise be difficult to see using mirrors or individual cameras.

Integrated artificial intelligence adds another layer of driver assistance. The system continuously analyses the surrounding area and identifies human forms within predefined detection zones. When a person is detected, they are highlighted on the monitor and the driver receives visual and audible warnings.

This combination is particularly valuable for vehicles operating around pedestrians, cyclists and site workers. Applications include waste and recycling vehicles, construction equipment, commercial vehicles and mobile plant operating in busy or confined environments.

Backeye®360 AI provides a 1080p HD image and multiple configurable viewing modes. The system can also respond to vehicle signals including reverse, left, right and speed triggers, helping provide relevant information according to the manoeuvre being performed.

Compatible Brigade MDR systems can record the individual camera feeds, allowing businesses to combine enhanced visibility and AI-assisted detection with video recording.
